high in epicness

It was pretty epic, and I loved how the quiet drums in the back, the part at :55ish that got all awesome and stuff. I think it could have built up to an even more epic and dramatic climax than it did however, with a larger volume change and a more huge orchestra thingy.
Also, I hated the part at 1:04 where it went all wah wah for no reason, since all the epic music cut out for a few seconds. If there was hardly any sound there at all it would have made it more epic, but the wah part didn't really fit.

I don't know if it's exactly what raw epicness would sound like, but it's a pretty good try.

Decent enough

I'm don't usually listen to this style of music, so I may not be the best judge, but here goes:

The start was really cool, and it started to build up nicely. However the piano in the middle (1:14 ish) seemed to be out of place, and probably could have used a bit more work. The out of tune sort of style it had worked nicely at the beginning and the end, but didn't sound like it belonged there.
It started sounding pretty cool again at around 1:32 when it quiets down, and the last section was pretty cool sounding, and the piano in that part seemed to mix better with the more upbeat drums and synthy backing than just with the bass in the middle.

Overall it was pretty good though, and had a nice unique style. A bit more work on the piano in the middle would have made it into a more excellent song.

Awesome while it lasted...

I really liked the tune and the sounds, but the song itself needed a lot more to it.
The intro was really epic and I loved at :36 when the music gets more powerful, however it dies out way too quickly. You probably could have made both the quiet part and the powerful part a lot longer, and made the loud part slowly die back down instead of just dropping out.

Unique and Awesome

I don't know... I just loved every second of it.
I personally think the lack of bass makes it really awesome. It sounds retro, and has a lot of depth even without the bass. The different sounds go together really well, and the beepy lack of bass makes the song very different, in a good way.

wow ty guy now im having second thoughts on changing the bass, but yea man thanks for the review its much appreciated

epic music

I loved the main little echo melody part and the entire song is pretty cool sounding. The only thing I didn't like was the weird scratchy sound that keeps playing to the beat.

deep

really deep and flows really nicely. especially liked how well the simple drum backing fit in.

combatplayer responds:

thanks a lot man :D

epic

up until 1:55 I was like "this is pretty sweet"
then the music kicked up and totally blew my mind.
This is pro stuff.

Hmm, well there's not a lot awesome in my life except for my music. I play guitar in a rock band and I'm pretty awesome at that. I also spend a bunch of time writing songs. Most of them never get finished but the few that are are put on this site!
